This novel is the first sequel to the epic novel Pattamahadevi Shanthaladevi. This was published in 1992. This includes all the incidents leading to the last part of King Vishnuvardhana’s life. The profound circumstances existing in the present situation due to the things happened in the past are introduced in the beginning of the novel in a very distinctive manner.
